cartoon drawn for the Save Smiths Beach
campaign that appeared in the Busselton~Dunsborough Mail,
local community newspaper.
It
costs to have cartoon put in a community newspaper ~ $ out of a
volunteer's pocket hence the poem:
Can't
afford a wrap around cover,
What about the Hooded Plover?
Can't afford consultants that's a fact,
What
about rare fauna habitat?
Can't afford to lose our idyll,
Here's a really bitter pill,
Can't
afford a cricketer.
