The
Smiths Beach Chuditch
In the time
since the first development proposal was
withdrawn in 2001, until the current development proposal (2007),
a vulnerable/ threatened/ endangered native Western Australian mammal,
the Chuditch, has been confirmed to use the Smiths Beach development
site as habitat.
Unfortunately
the confirmation was made on finding this particular male chuditch
as road kill on Smiths Beach Road.
