The Smiths Beach Chuditch

In the time since the first development proposal A Chuditch exploring the boulders comes across a hooded ploverwas withdrawn in 2001, until the current development proposal (2007), a vulnerable/ threatened/ endangered native Western Australian mammal, the Chuditch, has been confirmed to use the Smiths Beach development site as habitat.

Unfortunately the confirmation was made on finding this particular male chuditch as road kill on Smiths Beach Road.
